Quality of Granite

Found a Granite (http://tanbrown.org) that we like - Giallo Veneziano. All Slabs (http://www.VerdeUbatuba.com) we have seen thus far have pits - I would say - considerable in number. Is that just the nature of Giallo Veneziano, or is it likely to be possible to find this Granite (http://tanbrown.org) in better quality. Can pits be filled well enough to have a smooth, durable surface? Do you recomend filling, or should we find another Granite (http://tanbrown.org) ?
